When everything feels urgent: a free Priority Check-In for small organisations

Sometimes the hardest part is not the work itself. It is working out where to begin.

If you’re part of a small business, charity, or community group, you probably know the feeling: too many important things competing for attention, limited time and energy, and no easy way to decide what needs to happen first.

I know what it’s like, so I’m offering to do a free Priorities Check-In for small organisations.

It’s a 30-minute space for you to pause, talk through what’s on your plate, and help you work out what would be most useful to focus on next.

As part of the session, we will use the free Choozatron tool, which I built primarily to help small organisations identify their most immediate priority in a simple, practical way.

The aim is not to solve everything in half an hour, but to help you feel less overwhelmed and clearer about your next step.

What we’ll do

The conversation will usually look something like this:

1. A first check-in
We start with what is happening right now. What feels urgent? What feels blocked? What feels confusing or hard to untangle?

2. Working through priorities together
We use the Choozatron to look at the options and identify the most important thing to focus on first.

3. A clear next step
We identify one clear priority to work on right now, and some realistic next steps.

Bring colleagues!

It can be easier to get unstuck when everyone has a chance to reflect together and agree what matters most. If you work with colleagues, trustees, or collaborators, you are very welcome to invite them too (I can accommodate up to ten).
