Small Charity Week Triage – for Less Overwhelm and More Clarity

When small organisations get stuck, the problem usually isn’t knowing what to do.

It’s knowing what to do first.

The people I’ve met in (very) small charities already have a list of worthwhile improvements that is far longer than the time, money and capacity available to deliver them.

So, for Small Charity Week (which starts tomorrow), my theme is…

Triage.

That is, determining the most important things from a large number that require attention – because resources are limited and priorities matter.

Over the next five days I’ll be busting jargon, sharing practical triage tips, and offering suggestions for quick website fixes – to help small charities focus their efforts and find a little more clarity.

Every morning this week, a new post will appear on this page.

Progress doesn’t come from doing everything.

It comes from knowing what deserves attention next.
